Setting Robot Lewati Beragam Rintangan

Bagi Iqbal Qurdowi, Ammar Saifulloh, dan Berlian Fatikh Mubaarok tidak ada hal yang sulit jika dilakukan bersama-sama. Nah, berkat kerja sama tim yang baik, tiga siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo (Smamda) itu menempati posisi kedua lomba robot yang diselenggarakan Fischer Technik di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) pada Kamis lalu (4/3).

NUNGKI KARTIKASARI, Sidoarjo ---

MEMBUAT robot memang bukan pengalaman pertama bagi tiga siswa kelas XI IPA tersebut. Namun, program baru yang dilombakan membuat mereka dihadapkan pada tantangan yang sama sekali baru.

Menurut Ammar, flow cart merupakan program baru yang harus mereka kuasai dengan cepat agar bisa membangun robot yang sesuai keinginan. ''Setiap subprogram kami susun sendiri,'' ujarnya.

Itu tidak mudah. Buktinya, kata Ammar, mereka menghabiskan lebih dari dua jam untuk mengutak-atik flow cart. ''Kami mencari cara agar robot tersebut disusun sesuai dengan kemampuan yang kami inginkan,'' jelas anak ketiga di antara enam bersaudara itu.

Ammar menjelaskan, lomba di JCC itu mereka jalani mulai pukul 10.00 dan baru berakhir pukul 20.00. Pukul 10.00-16.00, mereka mendapat pemaparan mengenai program flow cart dari panitia. Sekitar pukul 17.00-20.00, mereka mulai mengikuti lomba.

Sebenarnya, mereka tidak membutuhkan waktu lama dalam menyusun robot. ''Yang lama, memprogram robot itu dengan program baru,'' ujarnya.

Selama ini, Ammar dan teman-temannya hanya membuat robot dengan program sederhana. Bahkan, mereka sama sekali belum pernah mempelajari dan mengenal flow cart.

Lalu, bagaimana mereka bisa berprestasi dalam lomba tingkat nasional tersebut? ''Itu berkat usaha keras dan kerja sama. Kami mencoba berbagai model dalam program tersebut,'' terang Ammar.

''Sebenarnya, waktunya terlalu pendek untuk belajar banyak tentang program itu. Tapi, kami dipaksa belajar cepat dan tepat,'' jelas siswa yang bercita-cita menjadi programmer tersebut.

Berlian memaparkan, di antara rangkaian program yang mereka susun, robot setinggi 15 centimeter itu berhasil melewati beberapa rintangan yang dibuat panitia. Setiap rintangan yang berhasil dilewati menghasilkan poin. Puncaknya, mereka berhasil mengumpulkan 400 poin.

Dia menjelaskan, rintangan yang berhasil dilewati, antara lain, melewati jembatan, membuka portal jembatan, dan melewati garis berbelok. ''Kami memprogram robot kami agar mampu melakukan banyak hal,'' katanya. (ib)

yang bisa dilihat pada hari sabtu pukul 7 malam di sekitar jalan dekat rumah

- rombongan orang-orang banyak banget,
persis kayag rombongan mo nonton konser dmasiv.
- mobil mobil , sepeda motor bertelekan (jiah... bahasamuu)
- alun-alun padat penuh sesak.
- orang pacaran.. ^hehhe^
- orang jualan di alun alun (tu mah tiap hari mbel)

yaa pegel aja liat orang segitu banyak.
kok ya seneng banget ya keluar ke keramaian kayag gitu.
